From New Hampshire to South Dakota to Peru

The equipment that was packed up on “boxing day” last Saturday began its long journey to Peru today. Sammie Wakefield drove a loaded U Haul from her home in Moultonborough, New Hampshire to Manchester where it was unloaded at Rehabilitation Equipment Associates (REQ).

Jan Soderquist of REQ is covering the shipping costs and Bill Hebert weighed the load and packed it onto four pallets.

Bill makes sure that everything is well wrapped on pallets for the long trip ahead.

Next stop – Hope Haven International Ministries in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where the pallets will join the wheelchairs we selected two weeks ago. Come January it will all be loaded into containers that will eventually land in Peru. A huge thank you to all who made this happen, especially Sammie who worked countless hours and coordinated it all!
